Role Overview:
As a Networking Intern, you will work closely with our IT and networking team to assist in designing,
implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent
graduates to gain practical knowledge and experience in the field of networking.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in configuring and troubleshooting network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor and maintain network performance using various tools.
• Support in setting up LAN/WAN environments and ensuring connectivity.
• Perform basic network diagnostics and resolve connectivity issues.
• Document network configurations, changes, and incidents.
• Collaborate with team members to improve network security and performance.
• Learn and apply CCNA-level concepts in real-world scenarios.
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a
related field.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addressing, subnetting, routing, and switching.
• Familiarity with networking protocols like TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VLANs.
• Coursework or certification in CCNA (or equivalent knowledge).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills:
• Hands-on experience with networking tools (e.g., Wireshark, Packet Tracer).
• Basic understanding of network security principles.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools like Nagios or SolarWinds.
